Why ADHD breaks most accountability apps

Is Brumo actually tested with ADHD folks?

Yes — ADHD is one of the three primary user personas the product was shaped around. The 'gentle nudge + no streaks' behavior and the long memory are specifically designed for executive-function support.

Can Brumo handle meds?

He can remind you, but he is not a medical device. Treat med reminders as a helpful nudge, not a safety system. For anything critical, use a dedicated medical reminder app or physical pillbox.

What if I miss a bunch of his reminders in a row?

He backs off. Brumo specifically filters his own pings when you've been ignoring him. The goal is to not become background noise.

Does he work with ADHD meds schedules that change daily?

Yes — just text him the change. "switching to 8am adderall starting monday" updates the recurring rule. He confirms and adjusts.
