Use case

An AI that actually remembers.

Most AI forgets you the moment the session ends. Brumo stores the things you tell him — people, promises, moods, small life facts — and brings the right one back at the right time.

Why AI chat forgets

Standard chatbots treat each conversation as an island. You can tell ChatGPT you have a cat named Arlo on Monday, and by Tuesday it has no idea Arlo exists. For tools, that's fine. For a companion, it's the whole problem.

The workaround people try — paste a huge background doc every time — is not a companion experience. It's data entry.

How Brumo's memory works

Every message you send Brumo is stored in your private thread. He has both short-term memory (the last day or two of context) and long-term memory (durable facts extracted from your messages — names, goals, moods, plans, life events).

On every reply, a retrieval step pulls the slice of long-term memory that's relevant to what you're talking about. So when you mention your sister Mira three weeks after telling him her name, he knows who you mean.

You can inspect and delete any stored fact from the Brain tab in the web dashboard, or ask him directly: "forget that i work at acme" and he updates his memory.

Memory in action

Three weeks apart
my sister mira is moving to LA in may
saved. scary or exciting for you?
(three weeks later) i'm stressed about this weekend
what's on it — is it the mira goodbye thing, or something else?

Questions

Is memory included in the Free tier?

Short-term memory is. Long-term memory (durable facts across weeks) is Pro. Free is enough to see how he handles the last day or two of context; Pro is what you want for the full 'second brain' experience.

Can I see what Brumo remembers?

Yes — the Brain tab in your dashboard shows every stored fact, grouped by topic. You can delete any item.

What if he remembers something wrong?

Tell him. "actually, i quit acme last week" updates the memory. Or edit it directly from the Brain tab.

The point isn't to remember everything. The point is to stop carrying so much in your head. Brumo is the friend who just… keeps track.
