Early-stage founders live in Slack and iMessage, not CRM tools. Brumo is a second brain that lives in the same inbox as your investors and customers — text him the stuff your CRM would want, skip opening the CRM.

Why founders don't use the tools they buy

You bought a CRM. You use it for about six days. Then a customer call runs long and you don't log it, then you don't log the next one, and within a month the CRM is a graveyard. Meanwhile you remember 70% of your relationships from memory and 30% from iMessage history you scroll for too long.

The real bottleneck for early-stage founders isn't knowing the tools exist — it's logging discipline. Anything that requires opening a separate app loses.

How Brumo fits a founder's workflow

Right after a call, text him: "just spoke with dana at acme — she's interested in the team plan, follow up monday". He parses and stores three things: person (Dana), company (Acme), commitment (follow up Monday). No template, no fields.

A week before a due follow-up, he pings you. "dana/acme follow-up is due monday — want me to draft a subject line?" You reply with the thing on your mind; he holds it.

Questions

Is this a CRM replacement?

No — Brumo won't do pipeline dashboards or lead scoring. He's a relationship/commitment memory layer. Use him alongside whatever CRM you have (or instead of, if you're pre-CRM).

Will he nudge me about investor updates?

If you tell him the cadence. "monthly investor update goes out on the 5th" — he'll start pinging you around the 3rd.

Can co-founders share a Brumo thread?

Not yet. Each user has their own private thread scoped to their phone number. Team/family plans are on the roadmap.

Founders don't need more tools. They need the tools they already use (iMessage) to do more. Brumo lives there.
