The lowest-friction journal you'll actually keep.
Most journals die in three weeks because the friction is too high — an app to open, a blank page to face. Brumo is a journal that already has a starting question ready. You just reply.
Why journals fail
A journal succeeds when it's right there in your life, not one more app asking for attention. The best journalers in the world treat it as a 60-second task, not a 20-minute commitment.
The problem: most journal apps need you to remember to open them, remember what tone you want to write in, and remember what you wrote last week. That's three 'remember's and you've already lost most users.
How Brumo becomes your journal
You text him a sentence about your day. That's it. He stores it, mirrors it back gently, and that's the entry.
On Pro, he'll also prompt you on a schedule — a single warm question like "how did today land?" at the time you usually would journal. If you don't reply, nothing breaks. If you do, you've journaled with one tap.
Because he remembers across weeks, you can ask him at any time: "how was i feeling last month about work?" and he'll actually tell you. A normal journal requires you to dig. He surfaces.

Questions
Where are my entries stored?
In your private Brumo thread, scoped to your phone number. You can view the full archive on the web dashboard and export or delete any time.
Can I add photos to entries?
Yes — photos sent via iMessage are stored with the day's entry. On SMS (Android) you'd text the image via MMS.
Can Brumo summarise my week?
Yes. Ask him anytime: "what did i journal this week?" and he'll give you the highlights.
The best journal is the one you'll actually open. Brumo is already open, because it's iMessage.
